Your meeting. Every day
Foo Café is the natural meeting place for everyone passionate about media and technology.
Whether you’re a creative, architect, programmer, gamester, geek girl or serial entrepreneur, Foo Café gives you a forum to meet, greet and develop, every day of the year.
Crowd sourcing over coffee
When like-minded people meet, magic can happen.
We provide the place, and the ingredients for that magic. Quality coffee, whiteboards, an open space, seating, beer – and a dynamic agenda of events.
The only agenda is you
Foo Café is completely independent. Unbiased. Open. Guests, speakers and partners come together to learn and share without any hidden agenda. There’s no recruitment or product placement.
We make sure interested individuals, companies and organizations, can relax, enjoy equal opportunities, contribute and get inspired from new ideas.
Foo Cafe started in Malmö, Sweden. Open both day and evening, we make sure high quality espresso is always available, together with snacks and cold beer.
In Stockholm, people can mingle or use conference rooms that accommodate groups from 10 to 100 people.
User Groups and other meet-ups regularly come together and hold spontaneous meetings before and after planned events. All the conference rooms have the latest audio/visual equipment.
We also offer help to non-profit groups who often don't have the time or resources to provide meeting services for themselves.

Foo Café comes from the World War II expression FUBAR (Fucked Up Beyond All Recognition). Read more about it on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foobar.
We changed to Foo Café as we’re open all day, not just in the evenings.
Foo Café is founded by Michael Tiberg. Gratitude goes out to Ester Ytterbrink, Micael Gustafsson, Steven Baker, Cathrin Frisemo, Cecilia Kjellbom, Martin Müntzing and Carina Haeggblom for their support and expertise.
