In a world where cyber threats are increasing, testing can increase security and protect sites from potential threats. By using an automated tool, the web site can be tested automagically and in a structured way so that human resources can be used more efficiently. I will explain how we are using tools to get automated security Testing into our delivery pipeline.
The tool presented is open source and uses acknowledged security tools, it requires little security knowledge beforehand but some security interests/curiosity helps.
If time allows there will be a small workshop.

About presenter Olivia Brännlund.
I’m a security enthusiast who recently started my career and I’m very eager to learn new stuff. I began my journey by going through the IT security bachelor program in BTH and graduated in June last year. Immediately after my graduation I started working for Qvantel which is a BSS (Business Support System) provider for the telecom industry. I’m part of our security team and I mainly focus on proactive security, making sure that the software we are producing are secure. As a part of that work I came across this framework which I’m going to talk about
17:30 - 17:45 Meet and greet
17:45 - 18:30 Presentation
18:30 - 19:00 Pizza break
19:00 - 20:00 Presentation + workshop
